How to Safely Depot Makeup into MONDAY STUDIOS Pro Grid Pans
Depotting allows you to transfer makeup from its original packaging into MONDAY STUDIOS Pro Grid Pans, helping you save space and build a customized, professional kit.
What You Can Depot
Best suited for:
• Pressed powders (eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, contour)
• Cream products (cream blush, cream foundation, concealer)
• Lipsticks (melt and pour into pans)
Use caution with very fragile or baked formulas. Liquid products are not recommended.
What You’ll Need
• MONDAY STUDIOS depotting spatula (coming soon)
• MONDAY STUDIOS Pro Grid Pans
• MONDAY STUDIOS Pro Grid Palette
• Optional: gentle heat source and isopropyl alcohol (70%) for cleaning
How to Depot Pressed Powder

Carefully insert a thin spatula between the product pan and the original packaging.

Gently loosen the pan by slowly working around the edges.

Once released, place the product into a MONDAY STUDIOS Pro Grid Pan or directly into your palette if already in a magnetic pan.
Work slowly and apply minimal pressure to avoid cracking the product.
How to Depot Cream Products

Scoop the product into a clean Pro Grid Pan.

Smooth the surface with a spatula.

Allow it to set before placing into your palette.
How to Depot Lipstick

Cut the lipstick into small pieces.

Melt gently using low heat.

Pour into a Pro Grid Pan and allow it to fully cool.
Cleaning & Sanitizing
• Lightly mist powders with 70% alcohol to sanitize
• Always clean tools before and after use
• Allow products to dry before closing your palette
